1. About us
Student Atlas is operated by Radguide LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company providing AI-assisted study tools and educational support for healthcare students in the United Kingdom. By using Student Atlas ("the Service") you agree to these Terms.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use the Service you confirm that you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. The Service
Student Atlas provides AI-generated study guidance, reflection prompts, OSCE practice, drug calculation training, placement support and related educational content for nursing, midwifery and allied health students.
4. Educational use only — not clinical advice
The Service is for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement, university teaching, NMC/HCPC standards, BNF guidance, or local NHS Trust policies. You must independently verify any clinical, drug-dosage or patient-care information before applying it in practice. We accept no liability for clinical decisions made using the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently or to send spam;
- infringe any intellectual property or third-party rights;
- attempt to interfere with, probe or scrape the Service, or upload malware;
- submit AI-generated work as your own where prohibited by your university's academic integrity policy;
- input identifiable patient data, protected health information, or confidential third-party data into the AI tools.
6. Generative AI — your responsibility
The AI mentor and tools may produce inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date output. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying outputs, and for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit. We may filter, restrict or remove content and may suspend accounts that misuse the AI tools (including jailbreaking, prohibited content, or repeated infringement).
7. Account and credentials
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
8. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, content and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal study within your chosen plan. You may not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Service.
9. Payments, subscriptions and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
10. Service availability
We do our best to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI outputs will always be accurate.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination your access ends; you may request export of your data within 30 days before deletion.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
